Functional Recovery Bodywork – Booking Policy Service Duration: 1 Hour Type: Functional Recovery Massage & Bodywork Service Overview & Consent: Functional Recovery Bodywork is a customized therapeutic session that blends deep tissue techniques, stretching, mobility work, and myofascial release to support recovery from injury, surgery, or physical strain. This service focuses on improving range of motion, reducing tension, and enhancing overall physical function—but is not a replacement for physical therapy or medical treatment. By booking, you acknowledge that this is a non-medical wellness service, and you agree to proceed at your own discretion. If you are recovering from surgery, injury, or have any medical conditions, you must be cleared by your provider prior to receiving treatment. Booking & Arrival: – Appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. – Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and discussion of current concerns or goals. – New clients must complete a health intake form prior to their first session. – Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be rescheduled and charged as a no-show. Cancellations & No-Shows: – Cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees. – Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. – For mobile sessions, if there is no answer at the door within 5 minutes of the scheduled time, the session will be marked as a no-show and charged in full. Health & Safety Policy: If you are experiencing fever, illness, infection, or pain of unknown origin, please consult your healthcare provider before booking. Services may be declined if they are not safe or appropriate at the time of treatment. Payment & Gratuity: Full payment is due at the time of service. Gratuity is welcomed but never expected. Privacy & Confidentiality: All personal and health-related information is confidential and used only to provide safe, personalized care. Your information will not be shared without written consent. Professional Conduct: Clients will be professionally draped at all times. Inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and permanent dismissal from future services.
