Our therapists can start providing lymphatic massages and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) therapy 24 to 48 hours after your surgery.

Lymphatic massage therapy is essential, especially after surgeries like Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs), to prevent and treat fibrosis, which is the formation of scar tissue under the skin. This therapy helps reduce swelling, promotes a more comfortable post-surgery experience, and enhances your range of motion. Without it, you may develop seromas, which are pockets of fluid. Many physicians recommend Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) after liposuction or other plastic surgeries to ensure optimal results.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and post-op massage offer numerous benefits, especially after cosmetic or injury surgery. They help reduce recovery time, improve range of motion, increase circulation, decrease stress levels by activating the parasympathetic response, reduce swelling and inflammation, and minimize the risk of fibrosis and seromas.
